Finally, after many months of indecision and distractions, I have finally managed to create a diary or blog, thanks to www.diaryland.com. Over the coming months I hope to gradually update my website and to inform regular visitors of any news regarding RAF Driffield. I also hope to express my own feelings both towards future changes and to what RAF Driffield means to me. It’s difficult to be objective 24/7 these days and I hope that being candid (honest about life in general) won’t put people off revisiting my website. I also hope nobody minds if I share their correspondence with a wider audience. Some emails posted on this diary blog will be recent, while others have remained in my inbox for years, gathering dust. Finally, our aeronautical heritage extends beyond the boundaries of former RAF Driffield, and from time to time I will express my own views of what can or should be done to protect and preserve what little remains of our collective past.
